Building a culture
of Road Education and prevention

The Colombian State defines general guidelines in education, corporate social responsibility and state and community actions to promote in people the formation of habits, behaviors and safe behaviors on the road and consequently, the child and youth population of our country has access to the Road Education, ATENTO has the firm purpose of generating the formation of autonomous, supportive and prudent criteria for decision-making in situations of displacement or use of public roads, in such a way that:

1. It contributes to making road safety education and responsibility as road actors a matter of public interest and subject to debate among citizens;
   

2. Training and informative campaigns for research and development projects on road safety are promoted and supported;
   

3. Pedestrians, passengers and drivers are made aware of the need to achieve rational and sustainable mobility;
   

4. Authorities, entities, organizations and citizens are made aware that road safety education is not based only on knowledge of rules and regulations, but also on habits, behaviors and conducts;
   

5. A relationship and identity is established between theoretical knowledge about traffic rules and behavior on the road.
